At Body & Mind Fitness, approximately 90% of our clients come to us to lose weight and improve body composition: what’s commonly referred to as “getting toned”. Using a combination of Weight-Training, Cardio-Vascular work in the form of Interval Training, and with a big emphasis on Nutrition and Lifestyle, these clients achieve remarkable results. Regardless of your current level of fitness or training we will design a programme that will have you burning body fat from your very first session.
With an emphasis on effective and challenging exercises, in a fully supervised and motivating environment, Body & Mind Fitness Bootcamps and Classes are great ways to get all the benefits of Personal Training at a fraction of the cost.
Apart from giving you a great workout, our Bootcamps also focus on your life outside the gym by including a Nutrition/Lifestyle Seminar, Diary and Weekly Weigh-ins. This option can be included with our standard classes as an upgrade. Groups and Teams can also be catered for at very reasonable rates.
Our Nutrition/Lifestyle Consultations are the foundation of the success that our clients achieve at Body & Mind Fitness. No matter what your health and fitness goal is, it will not be achieved by training alone. In order to reach your goals, your nutrition, sleep patterns and stress levels will have to be at optimum levels to help your body recover and repair from the stress imposed by your training programme.
All new clients have a comprehensive 60-75 minute consultation before they begin their training programmes but consultations can be booked without an obligation to train at Body & Mind Fitness.
At Body & Mind Fitness we have 3 therapy rooms in which we offer Neuromuscular Therapy/Sports Massage, Indian Head Massage and Holistic Massage. We have helped clients with a whole host of issues ranging from soft tissue/muscular injuries and strains to situations where clients are over-stressed and/or are experiencing difficulty sleeping.
NLP stands for Neuro Linguistic Programming and is the “Mind” aspect of Body & Mind Fitness. NLP is a set of psychological tools which teach you how to live more happily, become more motivated, communicate, influence and persuade more easily and improve yourself in any area of life. As an Irish Institute of NLP Master Practitioner, Willie Healy uses the whole range of NLP tools, including hypnosis, to help clients become more motivated and better equipped to make and achieve goals.
As a Qualified C.H.E.K. Exercise Coach, Willie Healy has successfully re-habilitated many clients who have had muscular and joint injuries and imbalances. Using a combination of strength and flexibility work with a constant emphasis on correct technique, clients have achieved excellent results which have allowed them to reach higher levels of physical performance.
One under-utilised aspect of sports and fitness training is the recovery period in between training sessions.
